hundred, thousａｎｄ, million、billion和Trillion

对于习惯了10进位的中国学生，在快速转换西方数字的时候，经常有时滞，而这将大大影响我们做听力和口语对话的质量。

只要知道了其中的规律，其实不难。

英语的数字，是千进位的（000），即：

hundred：100，百

thousand：1,000，千

一千：1,000 ，one thousand。

一万八：18,000， eighteen thousand（18+ thousand）

二十六万：260,000，two hundred and sixty thousand（260+ thousand）

million：1,000,000 ，百万

一千万：10,000,000 ten million（10+million）

2亿6500万，265,000,000  two hundred and sixty-five million（265+million）

billion：1,000,000,000 ，十亿

二百亿：20,000,000,000，twenty billion（20+billion）

三千亿：300,000,000,000，three hundred billion（300+billion）

trillion，1,000,000,000,000,万亿

四十万亿：40,000,000,000,000，forty trillion（40+trillion）

以此类推

词的用法：

①当前面有具体数词和several（几个，若干个）时，后面不加s也不加of

例：two hundred students 两百名学生 several thousand people 好几千人

②当前面没有有具体数词时，后面要加s也要加of

例：thousands of students 数以千计的学生
